When you book your vacation at one of our beautiful villas, you will experience more than the beautiful white sand and clear blue waters of Jamaica, you will feel as if you are staying in the wide open arms of family. I was born in Jamaica, and learned to love and appreciate the true beauty and tranquility that is found on our island. As a young girl, I left my Jamaican home for England, going to school to become a nurse. There I became a registered nurse and midwife. While working in England, I met the love of my life, Henry. He was a dashing young man from Pittsburgh PA who was assigned by the US Air Force to a local base in England. We soon married and made a life in England, with our son Gerald, all the while I always dreamed of the beautiful beaches and warm breeze of my native Jamaica. When Henry retired from the Air Force in 1978, we moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Here we put down roots, but we also purchased a vacation home in Jamaica, so I could quench my thirst for my beloved Island. Although we love New Hampshire, we would eagerly anticipate our vacations to Jamaica, basking in the warm sun, or snorkeling in the bay. We began letting friends and family use our home, and were thrilled to see the delight in their faces when they would return from their glorious vacation.
That is when the idea for Pineapple Villa was born. We wanted to give that same home feeling to others who wanted to vacation in Jamaica, but did not want to experience the commercial aspect of a hotel. Our clean, modern homes, equipped with its own friendly staff who will cater to your every need became an instant success. We treat each of our guests as if they were part of the family. We look forward to you visiting our home, and becoming part of our extended family.
See you soon,
